SKORR Annual Public Meeting, Election & Volunteer Appreciation

Come join us for SKORR’s 3rd annual Public Meeting, Election & Volunteer Appreciation night! Hosted by Alpine Valley in the Valley View Lounge, we will be raffling off a bicycle as well as other awesome prizes from local businesses.

  • 5:00pm - Doors Open. Come enjoy dinner and a beverage before the meeting!

  • 6:00pm - What we did in 2024, what the plans are for 2025, how we’re tracking with money, tools, equipment and lots of recognition of our volunteers!

  • 8:00pm - Raffle Closes:

  • 8:00pm - Election Results Announced

  • 8:30pm - Raffle Winners including the winner of the bike announced

Alpine Valley is putting together a special menu for this event and opening at 5pm. Enjoy dinner and a beverage before the meeting!

There are four positions up for election this year. We are so very grateful for all of the help that each of our current board members have put into the success of SKORR is incredible. Each of the current members whose position is up for election is eligible to run for their seat again.

Each SKORR Board position last 3 years. We typically meet once per month and host 12 work days throughout the year. While we also participate in events such as the Bike Expo and Fall Color Festival, each person chooses what they are able to commit to. Sometimes our meetings including a bike ride and then conducting business. We like to have fun…

The positions that are up for election in 2025 are as follows:

Vice President 

  • The Vice President shall be a voting member in good standing and shall be responsible for: 

  • Execute duties as above in the absence of the President. 

  • The Vice President is also the organization's liaison for sponsorship and donations 

  • The Vice President shall coordinate with all Trail Bosses. 

  • Perform all duties incident to the Vice President, and other duties from time to time as may be assigned by the President. 

Treasurer 

  • The Treasurer shall be a voting member in good standing and shall be responsible for: 

  • Timely submission of any periodic filings with the State of Wisconsin or the Internal Revenue Service. 

  • A report at each annual meeting and each board meeting on the financial status of the organization, or at a monthly meeting as needed. 

  • The Treasurer shall serve as the fiscal manager, accounting for, depositing, disbursing and acknowledging donations, grants, and other contributions. 

  • They will assist the President & Vice President to develop fundraising plans, hold and maintain organization financial records, prepare and submit financial performance reports to the Board and annually to the club members. 

  • Perform all duties incident to the office of Treasurer, and other duties from time to time as may be assigned by the President. 

Membership & Marketing Coordinator 

  • The Membership & Marketing Coordinator shall be a voting member in good standing and shall be responsible for: 

  • Maintaining all approved social media platforms 

  • Managing the membership database 

  • Share and email all authorized communications on behalf of the club 

  • Sending out announcements of events and activities that are held by the club or it’s affiliates 

  • Perform all duties from time to time as may be assigned by the President. 

Trail Boss - Connector

  • The Trail boss shall be a voting member and in good standing and shall be responsible for: 

  • Advising of all needs for their trail system 

  • Facilitating required maintenance of their trail system 

  • Considering long range or strategic planning for their trail system 

  • Communicating with the Tool & Equipment Coordinator regarding needed items or repairs required. 

  • Perform all duties from time to time as may be assigned by the President
